Oh, man. The flu kicked my behind!!! I was out of it and just trying to survive (and keep the boys happy and healthy) for a solid week. Miserable. Anyway, I'm fully recovered and I'll try to catch up as best I can under the circumstances.
Day 32: Nathan was chosen as the Super Star Student for his preschool class and we were tasked with making a poster to display outside the classroom. He was pretty thrilled to help me create this poster completely devoted to details about him.
Day 33: A quick snapshot of one of the many playdates I host. I think I hosted 60+ playdates last year. Can't wait for warm weather so they aren't in my house!
Day 34: Another playdate. I know, I'm a glutton for punishment. Today's playdate had a craft: heart-shaped crayon making! I purchased these ice cube trays at the Dollar Store last year so they've survived 4 rounds of crayon making so far. I remove the wrappers from all our damaged crayons (that I save constantly), cut them into small pieces and let the kids mix and match. Only use Crayola crayons...the cheap crayons don't melt very well. I never remember the oven temperature setting so I start at 250 and increase as needed until everything melts. Be careful not to jiggle the pan when you remove the cookie sheet as you don't want the colors to mix together completely.
Day 35: Keeping the boys from going crazy after dinner is a challenge. I don't understand that behavior, but it happens almost daily. Tonight's solution was to pass out some new puzzles and beg them to quietly put them together while I washed the dishes.

After dinner is a crazy time here, too. I just can't believe you have to do it all alone for so long - you're superwoman. Laughed out loud at your comment on my post about the quietness. Why do you think I was always at your house? :-)
The boys look so happy doing their crafts. Too bad I didn't know how to 'create' these things for you when you were little. But I did do a good job in the ladies bathroom on Grad night. Does that count?
What does his poster say?
