Christmas Eve...at the park?

We had the perfect Christmas Eve. The weather was delightful and Ryan and I were able to take the boys to the park. The park on December 24, can you believe it? Being able to share the holiday with family and friends would have been lovely. However, that being said, there is something wonderful about enjoying a low-key holiday with no one but the kids. They certainly don't care if the spare bathroom is spotless or if the entire floor throughout the house is picked up.

Nathan would spend hours in the swing, if only we were willing to push him that long.

Ian has his own way of doing things.

I think Ian is winning this race!

Nathan was content just running around outside. Boys belong outdoors, that's for sure!

These are darling pictures of the boys - and Ryan. What exactly does 'playing OUTSIDE' mean???? We seem to have forgotten. We may be getting more snow tonight! Ahhh

We did get a lot more snow on Sunday. We were still pretty much covered in snow/ice sheets and now we have several more inches. How come it never snowed this much while you were here? At least the kids had school today even if it was 2 hours delayed. BTW, HI JAN!! =)

Hi Jacqui - I think Melissa should come out here and enjoy our "expericne", don't you? What do you say Melissa?

Seriously - the boys are too cute. Don't they kind of look like your dad to you?
